“CAP”ITALIZATION RULES USING A CAP THEME FOR EACH RULE
USING A CAP THEME FOR EACH RULE
Over 25 Capitalization Rules to Create Anchor Charts with!
Since capital letters are taller than lower case, think of caps and
hats that also make people look taller when they are wearing them!
Throughout the year as you are reading in and out of school, use the
following pages to build a “CAP”italization list that describes the
capitalization rules on each page.
Make sure that you write the
word or phrase small enough to fit plenty on each page. Remember
to capitalize the first, last and important words and underline the
capital letters three times. To make learning capitalization for fun,
decide on a special day or week that everyone will bring special hats
or caps that they will make or buy to use every time capitalization is
being spoken or written about in class.
