This video is part ONE of three to four videos that you will receive with revising content for 3rd-10th grade teachers over a period of a week, depending on what grade level you teach. the reason for this is that it is very difficult to try and share the content in 2 to 3 hours that I would normally take 6 hours to do in a live in-person training at your campus or district.

Focus on Content and How to Add, Remove, Replace, and Move it Around
(Includes 3rd-10th Grade Revising Passages in ELAR Format and Length
Examples of strategies for training: how to teach revising and reading to students who are behind in reading ability, adding central idea/controlling idea, thesis, or position to a passage, adding a topic or supporting sentence to a paragraph, best revision of a sentence, adding a box sentence to the correct place in a paragraph, selecting the best sentence to add to a specific location, combining sentences, transitioning between paragraphs and sentences, removing and replacing words or phrases that are too vague with those that are more specific.
