Using the Colors of a Traffic Light and PEMDAS to Determine the Order of Operations
Note: You will be emailed a copy of this video within 24 hours of completion of purchase.
It is 4:33 in length.
This question is modeled after question number 10 from the 6th grade math test from last year in Texas.
It only scored 44%.
It was a very simple problem, but apparently the students forgot to use PEMDAS to determine the order of operations and get a value of an expression. I use a traffic like analogy to help your students remember the order of importance. Hope you like it!
