Discounted percents compared to the percent they were lowered

This question is modeled after question number 15 on last year's 7th grade test and only got 47% correct in Texas.
Your students had to take a fraction, reduce it, converted to a decimal by dividing, and then convert it to a percent by moving the decimal 2 places to the right.
In the video I have a little acronym that you can teach your kids using a sheet of paper to understand the concept of changing a fraction to a percent.
